WASTE NO MORE 2023
November 28-30, 2023 | IEC Convention Center (IC3), Cebu City
OBJECTIVES.
The annual Waste No More conferences aim to encourage international communication, collaboration and networking to advance knowledge and promote values, attitudes, commitment, and skills needed to address emerging issues on waste management and protection of the environment. These conferences also aim to strengthen the link between collaborative projects and applied research to support and address industry needs.
The annual Waste No More conference is the only conference in the Philippines that provides a platform for researchers, scientists, practitioners, and professionals from the academe, government, industry, international organizations, NGOs, and civil society to disseminate research results, new ideas, and practical experience in waste management, as well as, facilitate an open and constructive dialogue between multi-sector stakeholders towards resolving waste problems.
This year's theme: Make a Change Now is an urgent call to action. The amount of waste generated affects the environment in multiple ways: its contribution to the worsening climate crisis, its negative impact on wildlife and the natural environment, and its detriment to our very own public health.
